Teach as though it matters, because it does....

"Children are a gift from God, to hold and treasure, to pray for without measure.”

Why do you teach??? Have you ever asked yourself that question? I know ever since I was a little girl on my grandmother's porch, I wanted 3 things-

a. I wanted to be a teacher

b. I wanted to be a mommy

c. I wanted to get married (and I can say I selfishly wanted to get married so I could have kids)

Well, I am blessed to say that I am a teacher and I love it, but even as I sit here, I ask myself "why do I teach?" I want to make an investment in a world I will never see, I believe in the children are the future today not just tomorrow. I want all children to have a better future than their parents did and I want them to go for their dreams. So, teach as though it matters, because it does!
